FWIW I have never considered RTFM to be an adequate response…it’s just not helpful.

I’m sorry but setting up a wireless access point has nothing to do with ilive, it is simply networking.

The manual on the access point should answer some questions. Even the help pages in the console should assist with this “issue” or at least the documentation for the MixPad app.

Hi Casbru,

Just wondered how you were getting on with setting up your wireless router?

Your IP address (192.168.1.254) and subnet mask (255.255.255.0) were both correct. But you asked about setting your gateway address.

Gateway addresses are only needed when your wireless router needs to send data outside of the network. In a typical MixPad and iLive setup, this is not used. As you said you were unable to set your gateway to blank, I’d simply recommend setting it to something like 192.168.1.253.

We also have a video online about setting up your wireless router. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqIujmcUDps&feature=plcp&context=C4cad199VDvjVQa1PpcFPBOslVyWKRm3X--wnB_pOQOKRY3TiGjXU%3D

I hope this info helps,

Please post again if you have any other questions
