WZ16 2DX faders not working

Hi
I have a WZ16 2DX desk to use in a small recording/ rehearsal setup. I have ewver used an A&H desk before!
My problem is, none of the faders are working. There is gain control on each channel, and on aux 1, but nothing happening with the faders.
Setup is as follows
laptop DAW via Scarlett 2i2 interface. output on 2i2 plugged to desk input on channel 1.
mic input to channel 2.
Main stereo out from desk to line inputs on 2i2
Room PA is fed from Aux 1 output
I don’t know what I am missing, but I cant get faders to do anything…Any ideas please???

Aux 1 and 2 are pre fade auxes on a Mix Wiz, the channel fader will not control those levels.

Aux 5 and 6 are post fade auxes, those would be controlled with the channel fader.
