xDR16 - Port B card required?

If I am not using a control surface can I connect the xDR16 to the Ace Port on my iDR MixRack directly? Or do I need a Port B Ace Link card regardless?

Hi jgrooms,

You will need an M-ACE card in your Port B, as the integrated ACE port is dedicated to surface to MixRack link.
