I am a DJ who uses the Xone 92 and records into a Tascam Dr05 from my tape out in my current amp. I have been since Covid also recording my radio show at home. I use the Xone 92 as my mixing desk and I have a dynamic mic to record my voice. It’s worked very well !
I’m now considering live streaming and I understand that if I went into an audio interface and then my streaming software that I would lose my mic line from rec out or the booth, after all I believe this is due to booth feedback.
Is there a workaround on this with my Xone 92 DJ mixer ?
Just to recap my proposed kit is:
Xone 92 with mic > audio interface > streaming software
I like the look of Focus Rite audio interfaces and using the booth out line into the audio interface.
Ideas and thoughts on this? I 100% need all audio to record my show including mic discussion.
