I mapped faders for same function (volume) on two Layers that I currently use.
When I switch Layer I want immediate response from current position, but now in most cases (but not always) I must to move fader up/down few times to “pick up” fader on Layer… It’s very inconvenient…
MIDI pickup is the responsibility of the application in which You are using MIDI controller. This is how this setting looks like in Bitwig:

“ALL CONTROLS - In this state, all controls on the surface are linked to Latching Layers. The faders and pots have an embedded soft pick up algorithm to provide seamless integration across layers.“
this setting (off or on) doesn’t helps
What, no one has encountered such a problem?
Can anyone confirm this behavior?
Even when I’m not switching layers, but working on a single layer, once the fader is in the up/down position, it often becomes impossible to move it immediately when mixing tracks.
