Continuing the discussion from Xone PX 5 Connection Error:

Hi!

Well unfortunately mi mixer no longer recognizes any USB device, no service can repair it and I can’t buy the part to replace it either :frowning:

The problem is in the | XMOS | U11280C20 | GT13390 | chipset, which I understand is the one that provides 5v to the USB port. I need your help to be able to replace the board since I only use the mixer 100% as a USB controller. Please tell me what to do, and how to continue. I love the sound and quality of Allen’s equipment, I was lucky enough to use it in my career: Xone DX, XONE 4D, XONE 23 and 23C.

I am really a fan of the brand who wants to continue using your gear and enjoying its sound!! I can’t buy a new mixer for economic reasons, that is completely out of my reach.

I’ve found out that the circuit board apparently has part number 004-739.
You’ll need to Google for the best and most reliable dealer for that.
However, it also seems to be quite expensive.

But in connection with a replacement circuit board, there’s also a warning “CHECK THE PCBA IS PRE-PROGRAMED WITH SD RAM TEST”, and I don’t know what that means.
