Hello,
I am going to buy a ZED 14 and I would like to ask where should I connect the pedals chain to apply effect to the different inputs if I connect a drum machine or a synth.
Best regards.

Generally on one of the POST AUX’s outputs to the input of the chain, and then return into a free channel. Don’t turn up that AUX on the return channel or you’ll create a feedback loop.
Hi Scott,
Pleas, Can you tell me if this is ok and what steps remain?:
In case of use the FX in one device:
1-Plug the FX into INSERT using a TRS (output of the FX) into TS (INSERT) cable.
2-Use the FX’s parameters to send to the insert.
3-Manage the GAIN of the resulting signal.
In case of use the FX in various devices.
1-Plug the FX into AUX 3 or 4 using a TRS (input of the FX) into TS (output AUX 3 or 4) cable.
2-?.
Please, Can you finish this scheme?.
Thanks.
Please, Can you answer?.
Scott already basically answered your question.
Do not use an insert jack for the effects pedals.
Take the Aux 4 out to the first pedal input, take the last pedals
output to one of the stereo line input channels, use the L/M input if it
is a mono out from the pedal or use both inputs if the last pedal has a stereo
output.
When you say pedals for the effects I assume you mean your standard guitar foot pedal effects, in that case just use standard TS guitar cables for the input output patching.
Thanks Mike!,
ANd What about the INSERTS?.
An insert will apply the effects to only a single channel. The side chain method that I mentioned above will allow you to apply the effects to multiple channels.
Thanks!.
What is exactly the function of the 2TRK RTN button?.
Please read the manual. Do some research.
