ZED14 small toggle buttons too deep

I have just received my brand new ZED14 (from Thomann) and the small toggle buttons (Phantom, LR/Monitor, Pre/Post) (on the rightmost column) are all way too deep. I can only toggle them using a toothpick or something similar. The weird thing is that the photos of this unit that I see online all seem with similar “too deep” such buttons. What is going on? In the attached photo you can see how a toggled-on and a toggled-off look on my unit. Is this a common problem to the point that even the “stock” photos of Thomann and A&H show this unit with these buttons this deep?

This is an intentional design choice and applies to switches that are usually ‘set and forget’.
It prevents accidentally switching those settings when using the mixer.

Thanks,
Keith.

Thanks for your prompt reply, Keith! The buttons are so well-made and rigid, I find it hard to imagine someone toggling one by mistake, but I see the point. Thanks again!
