Hi, very lightly used Zedi10fx & today it turned off on its own. Other things connected to the same power circuit didn’t glitch or go off, as would normally happen if there had been a power surge, so not sure what happened. Have checked the fuse in the plug cable & that is ok & have also tried plugging it in with a different cable & different power outlet. I’m guessing the advice could be that something internal has blown. Any advice on checking / sorting it out? Thanks.
Maybe check the power cord with a meter for continuity end to end.
With all else checked it’s most likely the power supply module, I’ve a changed a couple on ZED mixers. Full Compass has them listed but not in stock.
How old is it?
Thanks. I’ve had it about 4 years but it’s actually only been used perhaps 10 or so times, as it was purchased as a second unit. Is it is an easy job if it is the power module?
i’m in the UK also, so Full Compass isn’t an option if I need to purchase a replacement module. I’ve read elsewhere online that sometimes the internal fuse can go, but also that opening the mixer up isn’t a good idea due to risk of residual power shocks. Any ideas on that?
Update; I emailed both H&A head office & their UK after-sales service address & not had any reply. Not even an acknowledgement of the emails.
Perhaps you mixed up some letters too. ![]()

yes, meant A&H - typo
Hate to be the bearer of bad news - had the same thing on the same mixer - replacing internal power supply at authorised A&H service centre - £140
