It’s probably a design update or a forced component change to manufacture the PCBs that support the fader banks, which requires a firmware update for it to work…
But I would also have appreciated a more substantial update with new features and fixes for some minor issues.
Yeah this is just an incremental point release to support other parts or something. I hope there’s a real major release coming soon 
There’s so much more this could be!!
