In/Out is strange and confusing On/Off please

Compression, EQ, Gate, etc : In/Out is strange and confusing On/Off please

In/Out coudl suggest “to the input” and “to the output”, it is confusing,
On Off is clear, no confusions !

But, from the verry long time you didn’t work on update, I begin to doubt of this forum utility ?

You’re right, even if I never had any confusion with IN/OUT wording.
ON/OFF or Active/inactive would be more clear for beginners.
Pls add your vote top left, mine is added.
For the last part of your post, I have plenty of trust in A&H dev.team.
Be positive, patient and the best will come for sure.
Greetings.

You’re right, last one last year.
I am sure A&H rep. are reading.
They even answer some times.
I think we all agree that we would love if they were more active but that is how it is.
I don’t blame them, I am just waiting for the best to come.

I again take the opportunity to quote MarkF reply in an other post about that:

Just out of curiosity: given the rarity and age of your updates, how many suggestions have you made?

As far as I remember my only personal request were for more “virtual softkey” and digital insert point.
But it was in the old forum, so they are buried far deep into this new one I believe.

Edit: I find all my request:

Allen and Heath do not give info on what they are working on. Coming from a manufacturing company, I can understand this.

It falls into the “Under promise, over deliver” category.

The last major update to 1.2, gave us a number of features that had been requested. V1.3 will add more that were not there when launched.

Coming from the Soundcraft Ui series, the last firmware update was in 2018 and support since Samsung acquired Harmon is dire.

Just be a little patient.

UI24R was actually just updated last year.

Well the CQ20 was already I my grubby handed by then and the previous update was 2018 I believe.

To be honest before the CQ20, the Ui24 was my target but Soundcraft seem to have been run down Since Samsung took over.
