QU24/16 scribble strips to print to magnetic paper. If you’re stuck and need something specific, PM me and I’ll customise it for you FOC - when I have a free moment! Created in Adobe Illustrator, if you need the file as a starting point contact me and I’ll forward it. Unfortunately the .ai file exceeds the forum upload limits
I’ll probably add soft key markers and a few other odds and sods when I get the chance.
Hope these are of use to you:)
Sorry _ just a slightly rescaled version uploaded now:)
Switch off “print scaling” in your print options. This is a 1:1 ratio print on A4 magnetic paper. Over and out!
Cool. Can you suggest where to buy magnetic paper?
If you’re in the US Staples carries it.
very cool!
Nice
Thankyou. Brilliant!
Here’s a link if anyone wants the Adobe Illustrator file:
Wow, can you upload a editable version? So we can type our own words there?
That file is editable Hawk, just download and open it in Adobe illustrator. If you have any probs, PM me your list and I’ll modify it for you when I get a moment or two;)
Rob
I can edit with a trial version of AI. How do you cut the magnetic paper? Does the paper work well in Officejet printer?
Thank you robbocurry
Ken
You’re welcome Ken;)
Hey Barry,
I use a Deskjet 3520 and a cheap guillotine or scissors to cut the paper. I’ve also used adhesive transparent backing to “laminate” the surface on the last batch I did, gave a nice tough finish to the labels:)
Thanks,
Robbocurry.
Since I don’t really feel like learning AI right now, can you tell me how to alter the background color, e.g., turn a gray to red?
Robbocurry you are a bloody genius! Loving your work! Cheers!
I just received my QU-24 this week. What a great mixer!!! Anyway, I’ve been printing magnetic labels for my mixers for some time now so I made some up for the QU-24. I use MS Word tables to create the labels. It’s easy and fast. I print them on 8.5 X 11 magnetic sheets for inkjet printers that I buy at Staples (I live in the USA). I’ve attached a couple of pictures and the Word doc with my label template.
Sweet!
I’m gonna have to pinch your design Tom;)
Barry:
Click on the box you want to change colour.
Once highlighted click on corresponding coloured box on the top left of the toolbar.
New colours will then appear, select the new colour you want.
Same applies if you click select text to change it’s colour.
Hope that helps:)
