QU24/16 scribble strips

thanks, I found the magnetic paper is not that sticky. It sticks better if it is a larger piece.

Me too, I try to use the full length of the A4 sheet for all runs if I can.

I’m with Barry,
how do you cut the printed magnetic material?

James,

Can you describe the adhesive transparent backing produce and process that you have used?

The backing material is often referred to as “sticky back plastic” or “book backing plastic” here in the UK. I use it to put a protective transparent cover on my daughter’s school books. You peel off the backing, press and rub it on. Putting it on before cutting the magnetics gives me the neatest results.

Clear contact paper

Another name in the USA is self adhesive laminating sheets.

Hey guys thanks to both of you. These are brilliant. I just got my QU-24 and was bumming on the lack of LCD scribble strips, but these look awesome

I got all the strips on one 8.5x11" page in Word. . .

Magnetic printer paper? Are we actually living in the future? How have I not known about this technology?

LOL

You can also get rolls of magnetic dry wipe whiteboard for times when you can’t do a full printout, and it willhappy stick over the “normal” label, so easy to change a few channels for one event.

As great and as handy as these print outs are (You guys really are awesome for proving links to these BTW) I’m not really sure I can be bothered to do it for each band I’m in and swop them out each time.

So how is everyone else labeling? I’m assuming some kind of dry wipe magnetic paper and a felt tip pen?
But then don’t you end up smudging the words and not being able to see whats written?

Anyone still major old school with masking tape and pen?

I usually use OHP pens (assuming you can still get them) they wipe off easily with a damp finger/cloth (best is a baby wipe), but don’t smudge a few seconds after writing.

And yes - magnetic tape, been using it for years.

For the Church Desk I made a set of printed sheets, but then the M300 is basically in a static configuration 99% of the time.

(Mag paper works fine in office inkjets, I’d recommend covering with sticky back plastic (the stuff we used to use to cover school books) and then cutting with a craft knife.)

Oops - replied to page 1… Not sure what happened there

I’m not much of a genius with Ms word. Anyone got any generic labels?
I’m thinking kik in, kik out, snr top, snr bot, gtr l, gtr r etc etc
I appreciate I might have to man up and figure it out myself

Ok sorry I’m a dope. Have robocurrys template. Will have a play

Hi,
great labels. Thank you.
One question:
Is the width the same with the QU16?
Greetings from Germany by Klaus
